Sponsor the Guhyasamaja Manjuvajra Ceiling Mandala
The Mandala Ceiling project highlights 20 mandalas from a variety of tantric practices. These are all part of, The Ocean of Tantras, a collection of sixty-eight mandalas from a rare Jonang Tradition text called the Gyu De Gyatso (rgyud sde rgya mtsho). These images are from Choje at Dzamthang monastery. Each mandala that is sponsored will be approximately 2 meters wide. You can write a dedication for it that Rinpoche can pray for on Saka Dawa when we consecrate the space. Please write a message when you make the donation.
Guhyasamaja: Secret Assembly, Manjuvajra: Melodious Vajra. Representing the secret union of wisdom and compassion leading to awakening, the Guhyasamaja Manjuvajra mandala centers on a specialized form of Manjushri. Manjuvajra provides practitioners with skillful means to sharpen our intelligence and warm our hearts by increasing the clarity and focus of our cognition. Shown in stylized fashion, ringed by nineteen deities and bearing all the marks of a Buddha, Manjuvajra traditionally embraces his consort Svabhaprajna and holds a sword to remove ignorance along with a bow, arrow, and flower.
